After Orson & Misty's wedding, Will & Jane wanted to visit the Staue of Liberty. I tagged along, and we had a good time. I was still under the impresson that the statue's flame was fire, but I think that was Ghostbuster's II on the brain. Heh.

Jay decided to make Castle Crasher costumes for Katsucon this year, and since I was in town for my b-day, I decided to go. It was EPIC!

I got "stuck" in Hawaii for a couple months doing a long-term project for my company... poor me. I wasn't prepared for what I'd see here in Hawaii, and still can't believe all the wonderful people I've met. I love this place!

<3 reading and <3 my Kindle. I started off with the Kindle 2, and upgraded to the Kindle 2 DX when it came out. I got both on launch day, and am in the process of selling my Kindle 2. With the addition of Mangle (www.foosoft.net/mangle) it's even BETTER being able to read manga & comic books.

I went to the Annapolis Renfair with Tara, George, Nelson, and Tara's brother Bijan & girlfriend. Had a blast. I figured the Chinese have been around for thousands of years, my shirt would have fit in somewhere in their fakeass renaissance period heh. I even met a cardboard robot, so I'm not too worried about historical inaccuracies. > )

"Up, up and away, My beautiful, my beautiful balloon!" July 10th, I got a bargain of a lifetime... a ride on a hot air balloon for the low cost of $1. How you ask? At my brother's friend's birthday party. They raffled 10 spots, and at the last minute, I decided to throw in a dollar. Result!

The ABSOLUTELY most terrifying and exciting achievement I've accomplished. I've done 0-120 mph in my STi before, but never straight down. I went with two co-workers, John & Reddy, who also had their first times. We jumped at Skydive Arizona in Eloy, AZ. I can't wait to do it again!

My friend Ray loves MP5's... so much that he owns *three*. He's also kind enough to bring them out every now and then and let others shoot 'em. Since Ryan was down for the weekend, I asked Ray come shooting with us, and he generously gave Ryan the full Virginia treatment... full auto that is. 0_o

After waiting about 8 hours in line at Nintendo's Nintendo World store in Rockefeller Center, I was lucky enough to get a couple of things signed by master himself. For those who aren't in the know... Shigeru Miyamoto is the creator of Mario, Donkey Kong, Zelda, etc.

Orson and I were sick of the warm weather this winter in NJ, so we decided to take an impromptu roadtrip to Stratton. For $122 TOTAL we got a room for the night and two lift tickets. CHEAP. We're definitely going to go back soon.

To celebrate my new job at the United States Patent Office, I splurged a little (well A LOT) and bought my first new car. I took the gradaution money I got from my family and put it down to purchase a 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STi, in the only color which matters, World Rally Championship (WRC) Blue. Hawt.
