College Park Tuning had their Spring meet which is supposedly the biggest Mid-Atlantic meet each year. This year it was HUGE. I got to check out a bunch of cars, and even picked up a Subaru hat for Melissa to wear. > ) Also, I won 4 tickets to HIN in June for $5.

After waiting about 8 hours in line at Nintendo's Nintendo World store in Rockefeller Center, I was lucky enough to get a couple of things signed by master himself. For those who aren't in the know... Shigeru Miyamoto is the creator of Mario, Donkey Kong, Zelda, etc.

To celebrate my new job at the United States Patent Office, I splurged a little (well A LOT) and bought my first new car. I took the gradaution money I got from my family and put it down to purchase a 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STi, in the only color which matters, World Rally Championship (WRC) Blue. Hawt. Here's some photos & video from my first day.

Stratton Ski Trip 2006

Orson and I were sick of the warm weather this winter in NJ, so we decided to take an impromptu roadtrip to Stratton. For $122 TOTAL we got a room for the night and two lift tickets. CHEAP. We're definitely going to go back soon.

2004 June Hailstorm

The first day of June brought a pleasant surprise... HAIL. Not your mini sprinkles-sized hail either... we're talking 1/4" sized monsters which hurt when they hit my head but taste good all the same.

Balloon Ride - In-flight

We drifted for about 10 miles, all the time getting to see a lot of the land around us, and hearing absolute quiet and peace except for the occasional dog barking at the curious floating red balloon... heh.

Annapolis Subaru had a good BBQ & Open House, along with amazing deals on parts... I picked up a couple engine cosmetic pieces, and enjoyed the food. Also, I won a raffle and got a goodie bag of various cleaning products, and merchandise.

Balloon Ride - Landing

After cruising a long for an hour, we missed a group of fields, and instead found a nice touchdown spot at a desolate intersection. Our pilot, Keith, masterfully glided us down and parallel parked us 6" from the curb. Then, begrudingly, our magical flight was over.

My New Apartment

One idea our clan has thought up to differentiate us from the rest is bombarding the server with dozens of clones of one character, and then working together as a guild to keep our characters as exact and similar as possible. Kappa Xi Kappa caught fire on March 10th at around 1am. Thank God nobody got hurt, but the exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.

"Up, up and away, My beautiful, my beautiful balloon!" July 10th, I got a bargain of a lifetime... a ride on a hot air balloon for the low cost of $1. How you ask? At my brother's friend's birthday party. They raffled 10 spots, and at the last minute, I decided to throw in a dollar. Result!

The takeoff was great because it was so calm, besides the dull roar of the gas burners above us, there was really nothing else to experience. You rise up so gracefully, you don't even feel it, and before you know it, you're 1000 feet in the air.

I organized this drive-in theater meet for Fast & the Furious 3. The movie was horrible, but the 1.5 hour drive was worth it to hear "I need NOS" sitting in my STi.
